Hello Whitney! Ive recently joined ATI from Brazil and am amidst figuring my way around the site and all the options offered to us teachers of ESOL! Your testimonial is the first video I am watching in TESOL Cafe and it was wonderful hearing your outlook on the course. I am getting the American TESOL Expert Online Certifications, although I have had some training done locally in teaching ESOL through the language courses Ive worked for.

I do have a couple of questions regarding your experience at ATI and am hoping you might aid me in figuring things out:
1. Which training did you complete at ATI?
2. Regarding the methods of teaching, how did you adapt to TPR? The method is turning into my personal pet-peeve and Im having a real hard time picturing the use of it! Seems like something you would apply strictly to starter level students, and in very limited ways. When you mention teaching someone using the stove for the first time, did you have TPR in mind?

If you ever consider coming to Brazil, please, feel free to contact me. Ive been an expatriate here for the last ten years and it´s likely I will stay for a while still!
